Blizzard just released a new Overwatch comic. In it, the Overwatch team grapples with how to handle a robot uprising in London, despite the fact that they’re technically not allowed to intervene. The comic likely exists as setup for next week’s event, but it’s also just a slick comic. Check it out.

Typically when I sit down with a video game, I play until I’m either a) bored, or b) teeth-grindingly furious. Lately, though, I’ve been trying something different: quitting when I’m feeling goddamn fantastic. I recommend it!
Reigns, a game about ruling a kingdom through an interface that’s basically Tinder, just got a big update on PC and mobile. It adds more than 100 new cards, which include new objectives, characters, and of course, ways to die. Reigns was one of my favorite games of last year, so if you haven’t played it yet, do that.

Recently, popular YouTuber Jon “JonTron” Jafari made some damn extreme comments about race, which set off a chain reaction of, well, reactions across the internet. The latest consequence of Jafari’s ugly remarks: upcoming N64-era platformer revival game Yooka-Laylee is removing his voice acting.
In competitive games, a handful of bad eggs can stink up the whole basket. Even Overwatch, a shooter designed with teamwork and a degree of positivity in mind, can’t dunk them directly into the trash fast enough. Blizzard’s solution? Better tools.
