In another sign that something wasn’t quite right with the roll-out of last November’s Watch Dogs 2, the game’s publisher said today that it is moving some of the planned paid content from the game’s season pass to a free update. For paying customers, Ubisoft is replacing it with other stuff.
A new 10GB patch for Ubisoft’s Watch Dogs 2 fixes bugs, adds new clothing, tweaks some systems and primes the game for some downloadable expansions, but it also adds a mysterious conversation to the game’s final cutscene. That’s got people guessing, since game endings don’t usually get patched.
Ubisoft released a patch for Watch Dogs 2 yesterday in preparation of the first DLC, which will fix some known bugs and balance the multiplayer game modes. While it’s not exactly The Sims level hilarious, there are still some funny changes alongside the more necessary ones.

Ubisoft says Watch Dogs 2‘s seamless multiplayer modes will finally be fully live in the game at 11:30am ET today. The publisher had held them back from launch last week for technical reason and has been rolling them out gradually.
Watch Dogs 2‘s seamless multiplayer was broken at launch, but some of the features have been brought online today for Playstation 4, with availability for Xbox One soon to follow. Should the update run smoothly “additional elements” to the multiplayer will be phased in, Ubisoft noted in a statement this morning.
